Will it rain tomorrow? Did it rain last week? Or did it rain two years ago? WeatherSpark has answers to all of these questions.
The website visualizes historic and forecast weather data from multiple sources. There’s data for virtually any place on earth. Most interesting of course is the temperature or condition, but even not so common values as cloud cover or the solar elevation angle can be displayed in a time line.

The idea is simple: Take every frame of a movie, compress it to small bar and arrange all bars/frames side by side. The result: movie barcodes!

Looking for a fresh gtk theme at gnome-look.org I stumbled upon the best theme I’ve ever seen: Divergence IV – “A New Hope”. It comes with a customization script to configure basic settings.
To use all features, you should also install Nautilus Elementary (see installation instructions here) and use Emerald as your window decorator. I use the theme together with the Faenza icon set which fits very well.
